Sustainable Community Strategies for Achieving Hepatitis B Elimination in Patongo HCIV,Lukole HCIII and Patongo Hospital

We are excited to announce that AACT4GHealth-Ug has secured a 3-month project running from January to March aimed at increasing hepatitis B treatment coverage. This initiative focuses on several key areas to ensure effective advocacy and support for affected individuals.

Project Highlights


  • Support Group Therapy: AACT4GHealth-Ug will facilitate support group therapy sessions, providing emotional and psychological support to individuals affected by hepatitis B.

  • Timely Birth Dose: Emphasis will be placed on administering timely birth doses of the hepatitis B vaccine to newborns, a crucial step in prevention.

  • Health System Strengthening: The project aims to strengthen health systems to better support hepatitis B treatment and care.
